As the title asks are CAI's really worth the money. After reading through some threads it seems like for a '13 GS that the stock intake is better than the CAI's or did I read the thread wrong. Thanks for the help.
Yes it is IF YOU ARE GOING TO TUNE YOUR CAR WITH THE SWAP and lots of people have picked up dyno and track gains from adding one. You really can't go by one person's opinion, but considering very few say it does nothing that should tell you something. And GS Man is running an LS7 intake which flows better than the LS3 - a good idea if you don't want to tune your car.
In my opinion yes, it is.
But yes this topic, like so many others on these message boards, is also VERY heatedly debated as well LOL.
On both counts.
However, it really comes into it's own on the track at WOT. For those who rarely see WOT for more than a few seconds at a time or who deal only in SOTP performance, you'll never have any conclusive evidence of the differences.

Do you mean the intake manifold or the air intake? What is the difference?

I picked up over 3/10's with the Vararam with no tuning.yrmv.great results for under $300. I would gladly pay any vendor on here $300. for another 3/10's
