Need some help with Ingnition Mode & Power
05 C6..Power & Ignition lights red & gold stay on as well as nav screen..
"Shift to Park" on dash.... seats don't adjust until hit 1 or 2...horn beats 3 times when I walk away...
Help!

Likely a failed or out of adjustment micro switch at the base of the shifter, OR
Possibly one or more loose wire connection(s) at one of those switches, OR
Maybe the shifter mechanism itself is loose and/or just not fully engaging the Park position.

The switch on the shifter broke..Dealership said the car thinks she's in reverse..that's why the Shift to Park comes on.. ..She is there till Monday....Good thing I brought her in..The battery was dead this morning when the tech came in..Hope it didn't ruin my battery...
