Default Dewitts EOC/TOC Radiator for C6 A6

Received my Dewitts 1139105B Radiator today. My Z51 Oil coolant lines arrived from Parts Taxi a couple days ago so I'm almost ready for the install. The radiator arrived equipped with the transmission oil coolant (TOC) line jiffy-tite connectors in place. The engine oil coolant (EOC) side of the radiator is not equipped with any connectors, just threaded bungs. The EOC lines from Parts Taxi are 1/2" and will require connection to a 1/2" jiffy-tite connector. I assume the threaded bungs on the radiator will accept a 1/2" jiffy-tite type connector but want to check with anyone on the forum who has experience with this, who can validate my assumptions or steer me in the right direction. I have placed a call with Dewitts but have not heard back from them as yet. It will be a couple of weeks before I am able to install but wanted suggestions or helpful tips from any forum members who may have worked through the install of a Dewitts with EOC/TOC for the C6 A6.

Will the threaded bungs on the left side of the radiator (EOC Lines) accept the 1/2" Jiffy-Tite connector?
The 1/2" Transmission oil coolant line requires a quick disconnect connector, like the transmission oil coolant line, only larger. The TOC line is 3/8" while the EOC line is 1/2". I see where I can order several different Dorman Quick Disconnect (Jiffy-Tite type connector) oil cooler line connectors but I have no idea which connector will fit the Dewitts Radiator and accept the 1/2" Oil Coolant Line. Anyone with knowledge of which Dorman or other connector I should order?

You need a pair of GM PART#15190249.

For: Y ENG OIL COOLER(KPS) (2006-2008) (2006 - 2008).
For: Y ENG OIL COOLER(KPS),(2ND DES) (2005-2005) (2005 - 2005).

Manufacturer GM
Categories ENGINE > Oil System
Assemblies ENGINE OIL COOLER LINES; RADIATOR ASM; RADIATOR ASM (

); RADIATOR ASM (KPS); RADIATOR ASM (L; RADIATOR ASM (L96/6.0G, MQ7); RADIATOR ASM (L96/6.0G, MYD); RADIATOR ASM (LY6/6.0K, MANUAL TRANSMISSION M96); RADIATOR ASM-6.0L V8 (

Contrary to what you may hear, the oil lines w/block fitting can be installed without removing anything. I recall putting the lines in first from behind the engine mount upside down and once twisted carefully into place I then bolted the block to the engine. You can then push the oil lines into these fittings that you already installed in the new radiator.

Dan,
Thank you, just what I needed! While I have not yet attempted to thread the lines through or past the engine block/motor mount, I have surveyed the area and as you mentioned, it looks like I should be able to get the job done without dropping the cradle and loosening the motor mounts. I will post up results once I have time to tackle this job. Thanks for your help!
