I think I'm too old to have an extremely loud exhaust anymore. My head hurts after driving my car for about 45-1hour... Anyway, I'm looking for an exhaust that will tune it down a good bit. I currently have B&B Bullet exhaust on it.
What would you all recommend? I thought about going with Corsa sports... wise decision?
I have LT headers, no CATs and NPP. Absolutely perfect. Open in the city and without the wife and I can be loud & vulgar. Closed, quiet as a stock exhaust system to keep the wife happy, the bluetooth phone connection normal and the headache from the drone gone.
I had the B&B bullets and got rid of them in a very, very, short time. They are ***** loud!
Sounds like you guys just helped me decide what kinda exhaust im getting....B&B!!!!
When you were 24 you prolly wanted the loudest **** out there too : p
also, do you have Headers ? High Flow Cat ? X Pipe ? other than stock Cam ?
All those play into the final sound ..
I currently have LPE long tubes, with an off road x-pipe, dumping out to B&B Bullets, also have an LS3 Hotcam.. To the previous posters point, it's WAY too loud! If I could cut the noise down by 50% I'd be happy.

I have long tubes and Corsa Sports and they are loud! I like them, but you probably wouldn't. I think your best bet is to go back to stock mufflers, and with your long tubes they will probably be about loud enough for you.
If you want quiet, without giving up the headers, go to stock cats with x-pipe & stock mufflers. You may have to do some cutting & welding, but shouldn't be too difficult a job. IMHO, just about any aftermarket exhaust with the cam, headers & open pipes is going to be loud.

No way are you going to use stock cats with long tube headers. The headers and collectors fill the area where the stock cats originally fit. I guess you could cut the inflo and out flow piping off the cats and manufacture a custom x pipe that the cats could be welded into but I don't think that was what the OP had in mind.
