LS2 stroker normal aspirated: options ?
I'm thinking of getting a stroker kit for my LS2 since my piston rings are pretty much wasted and probably the block is going to need a re-bore.
I allready have:
full exhaust, vararam intake, - comp XER273HR cam 224/230 581/588 114lsa, double valve springs, pushrods and I milled the heads 0.7mm (.027").
I want to stay normal aspirated, what stroker options do I have ?
Regards,
Michael
I also have a FAST intake, and Kooks Headers, & x pipe,, and FTI-2800 converter..and a Cartek 3X camshaft, with dual springs, & lightweight keepers..
They are also installing high end pistons, & rods, and a Melling hi volume oil pump..
But even with these mods, I'm keeping the stock mufflers.. because I Cant Stand Drone"

Cartek told me I won't be leaving too much on the table by using the stock mufflers..
11.5:1 compression on a 64cc head.
Will this work with my milled heads ? What head gaskets should I use ?
I can run premium fuel all the time, what compression should I aim for, keeping a street setup ?

I have 410 gears with 3600 stall and it will run consistent 11.14 to 11.16 ET's in cold air....NA. Dyno jet read 445/413 tq.
Truck is 4140 lbs in street trim, with me in it.
Now think how that light Vette will run with a stroker.
My Z has a 383 stroker, same heads and a little more cam running mid tens. Again I set mine up for lots of street driving so both have under 500 rwhp.
Dyno jet was 487/430.
You will love the torque. By the way, the Z has the Eagle stroker kit....both motors going on 5 years now, running great.
