I have a 07 base c6 with a six speed. When I shift the car it sways pretty hard, the higher rpm, more aggressive shift, the more it dips and sways. Some is normal, but this seems a bit much. Any ideas? The car has 70,000 on it.
Thanks
Well it's going to dip a little when you let off to shift then get back on the throttle. Mine used to sway and dip pretty bad, then I realized that it was actually my hand jerking ever so slightly on the steering wheel causing the sway. Not saying this is your problem but it's something you could look for.
I don't know ?Mine just tries to put the right rear in front of the right front tire on hard shifts.Scares the hell out of you.I only have 40k on mine so I am not sure about needing shocks.I had mine aligned last mth and it's not as bad but still does it .
check all of your bushings and mounts. something is moving likely in the rear causing the the wheel to move and the alignment of the thrust angle to move. this will cause the car to feel like you have to correct the wheel after coming on and off the throttle
