Default Variable Exhaust Adjustment

Sorry if this has been covered but I'm new and, evidently, no good with the search. I'm wondering if it's possible to adjust the vacuum control on my 2011 to open sooner. I'm wasting gas holding revs just so I can hear it. Opening at 2K would be better.

Regards,
DaveT

I'll second that. Pull the fuse and give it two weeks. Then put it back and decide. I couldn't get home fast enough to pull it after I put it back in.

He makes & sells a wide variety of exhaust controllers. One of them is adjustable by RPM. The least expensive controller allows you to open or close the vacuum contolled flaps with a remote any time you want.

Check his instructions for the one button controller if you want to see how involved the installation is.

Thanks for the info (impressed with the quality of this list). I'm thinking the vacuum can be controlled to open sooner without the need for a add-on controller. If I stumble onto something I'll post.

Probably can but it'll require somebody with tuning knowledge and ability since the opening RPM is controlled by the ECM (or BCM?)
