I have a 2013 GS M6, engine temp. runs around 192' and may go up to 205-210 in very bad traffic. Would these engines be better off with a 160' thermostat or leave the 192' in. I've heard that engines run better at cooler temperatures. I also have the large oil cooler and in aprox. 95' outside temp my oil is about 175 when going 60-70 mph. It goes up to about 180-190 in heavy traffic.

Every thing is normal. There is no reason to change thermostats. Engines run better, last longer and pollute less when run with the 180 degree stock thermostat.

I thought the stock thermostat was 192 degrees. I was thinking of going to a 180'
