Does anyone know where to get a GOOD tune in central/south New Jersey?? I have an all stock 2013 GS, may put aftermarket air cleaner on.

OP: Just to let you know, that a tune may void or deny your warranty by your GM dealer. If you already know that, then proceed and have fun.

i traded in my 04 Z06 for an09 base vette, 04 was rated 405hp and the 09 was 430hp. the 09 was a complete dog compared to the Z06, so i went back to the dealer and told him if the 09 was over 300hp it would be a miracle. he tried to explain to me the 09 was capable of 430hp but detuned at the factory to protect people(the driveline). when he understood how displeased i was with a brand new car, he offered "go on the forum and see what the other guys are doing and i'll do my best to maintain your warranty". fair enough i said...
see if your dealer will maintain your warranty if you make some mods, maybe he will work with you, it doesn't hurt to ask... good luck,

jerry

At the crank, I would agree, but at the wheels would be a different story.

my 04 Z06 was 405hp at the crank, as advertised....the base 09 430hp at the crank. the Z outperformed the 09 C6, in a way that wasn't even close. the dealer knew what i was talking about as he also owned an 02 Z06, what i am trying to point out here that the dealer will work with you if he feels like you have a legit beef. so to the op see if your dealer can be flexible and work with you, they want your business in the future and will do what they can to keep you.

It is lighter by around 100-200lbs...you feel a weight difference. In reality they are very very close.
