First Post - Need your help please
I've been a long time lurker (years) and due to the information I've gotten from your collective brain, I've had two corvettes, a C5 and a C6.
Most of the time, if I have a questions I'll google and use this forum, but for the life of me I can't find an answer to this question/problem.
My husband 'borrowed' my C6 the other day and went for a little drive. It was around ten minutes before I got that 'Oh Poop!' realization that the key fob was in my pocket, and I was still standing in the driveway.
Do any of you guys know what the deal could be with this? How is it that the C6 can drive off without a fob?
I called him and told him that I had the key in my pocket, to which he just giggled like a school girl and said 'Weird', so it's fair to say that he's no help on this.
Thanks for your help, and if you can't help, thanks for reading this far and keep up the awesome job of sharing knowledge.
Once the car is started it doesn't know the FOB is there or not and you can drive as far as you want without it until you try to turn it off.
Oh, BTW, Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for answering, I didn't know that the car would run without the Fob. It's good to know that there's nothing wrong with the car.
Thanks for the welcome!
