OP, I have an 05 with 93K miles and just got the dreaded column lock message and it drained my battery. I ordered the COH module and all is good. No more problems. Good luck!

Default Where to get the COH Eliminator installed in the San Diego area?
Anyone in the SD area know where I can take the part to get installed once I buy it? Don't want to take chance on screwing it up.
