Default Hawk Brakes

I have searched for various threads and I am looking for a little help. I have a 2013 Grand Sport. I am tired of cleaning the brake dust off my chrome wheels. I purchased some one piece Hawk ceramic pads part numbers
Front – HB658Z570 Rear – HB659Z570 . Brought my Vette and brakes to the guy who been doing the work my Vettes for the past 10 years.

Well he took the wheels off and now says there is no way the padey are too small.

I looked up the pads on 5 differant web sites and came up with the same part numbers.

I even called Hawk they assured me that was the correct part numbers and then I even sent him pics of them and he confirmed they are the correct brakes.

Can anyone who has put these one peice brakes on their Grand Sport that I can tell my mechanic to point him in the right direction. I am really getting tired of this dust.

HELP!!!

Did he check both boxes? Almost sounds like he is looking at the rear pads and trying to put them in the front calipers.

Pics would help as well. Should be obvious if the pads don't align with the pins or the anti-rattle clips. Perhaps Hawk packed the wrong pads in the box.
