Probably a bad oil-change job man . But you need to check where the heck the oil is coming from first. If it's from the filter base, check that it's tight (by hand), for starters. If so, check that there're NOT 2 gaskets in there, which is a common mistake. And if the extra one blows out, you could be out of oil in seconds. Good luck.

First thought is either the gasket was not installed or the old gasket was not removed & "doubled up" with the new gasket (most likely). Did you do the oil change or was it done by some shop?
could be anything really... if only the filter is wet, then go with any of the above posts.
the strangest one i've had was the Oil Pressure Sender.
it is at the rear top of the engine, but the oil it leaked travelled forward on the valley cover, down the passenger front side of the block, then i guess air flow spread it all over the bottom of the oil pan.
