Default Need electrical help pls! Pinout swap

I have an 08 c6 that I've installed an 07 ls7 with the 07 wiring harness in, everything else on the car is 08...ecu, body harness, etc. I've read on here that all I need to do is swap a couple wires, ones is #72 on the ecu plug and the other is one in the fuse box under the hood. Was wondering if anyone could help me figure out which wires i need to change, I'm in desperate need of this, only thing holding me up

You didn't need to swap the wiring harness at all. I put an LS7 in my 2007 C6 and except for needing two new pigtails (cam sensor and MAF) it was a direct swap.

The 07 and 08 wiring harness are diff, when I plug the 08 ecm in and hit the start button I lose power for about 8 seconds then everything comes back on

I understand that. What I was trying to tell you was that if you had left in both the 2008 PCM and 2008 wiring harness all you would have needed to change is those two pigtails I mentioned earlier. I also put an LS7 in a 2005 and that's all I had to do with that car as well.

O, ok yea I figured it would but I didn't even think of it bc I was just in a hurry to put it in and try it out hahaha, but I've read on here the only diff in the 07 and 08 harness is 2 wire pinout differences, just seeing if anyone could explain them before I change the whole harness

Ok so I changed the whole harness, it looks like the only plug that I had to change was the intake air temp plug, the others plugged right in, is there a wire diff that I would need to change them for? Or is it ok like that
