XM antenna
Running a 2005 coupe with the basic (no Nav) XM radio. As I am in the UK the XM is no good to me and I will be converting that side to an aux input.
Question I have is can I remove the antenna on top of the halo bar without affecting radio reception or does that antenna do both jobs, or is there a separate antenna in the screen for the FM/AM signals?

There are 2 antennas. The radio antenna runs across the back between the tail lights so you will be fine getting rid of the XM antenna. Just FYI its held on with double sided tape and there are 2 holes in the halo under it.

Thanks guys, just what I wanted to hear. I suppose I could repair the holes from on top but would prefer to take off the halo bar cover and do it properly, is the cover easy to remove? and how?
