I have an 06 with a magna flow cat back exhaust. I had a friend of mine put it on 2 years ago. Went out drinking last weekend and he told me when he put exhaust on, the X pipe had alot of slag on the inside that reduced the exhaust diamamter by HALF. How mush power is this robbing me of???

He's full of sh*t or flat-out bs'ing you. Drinking will do that
No, your friend is a genius. I'd tear back into that exhaust and look at the restriction. Think of how much better your car is going to run once you get rid of that gunk in the X pipe!
Sorry, I couldn't resist and I'm not even drunk. But yes, your good friend is having some fun with you.
If you really want to know, measure it. I lost my affinity for several aftermarket exhausts by doing just that. If there's no positive pressure before the X, there's nothing to be concerned about from that point rearward towards the mufflers. Sometimes, you have to do the work yourself. On these forums (or any forums for that matter), folks will claim to have a clue that actually don't.
I've done a little testing on Flowmaster Vs Magnaflow. Flowmaster is ****....Magnaflow is legit.
