Default Grease Everywhere ... LR Wheel
Please help me with the source and issue/cause of this green grease. I heard the brake squeaking and saw some grease on the chrome rim. Pulled the wheel off and this is what I found.

check the 2 clamps on the cv boot.replace it.happen to me awhile back.

So ... I have a High Performance Driver Event at VIR on Monday and Tuesday. Do I run both days and fix this later. Or, is that not a good idea with the grease looking like it has mainly made it's escape from the boot on this side? Advice?

No way without repairs.

You would not pass a safety inspection looking like that. Definitely get it fixed.

From what I've seen, CV joint grease is always green - an instant clue. Also, it's about the toughest stuff to clean off that there is.
