I had a dead battery jumped the car drove home left both fobs in car. Then a couple days later removed the battery and replaced it. When i put the new battery in neither fob worked. I checked and both fob batteries were low I replaced the batteries but both still do not work. I have test both with a RF tester and neither is sending a signal. any body have any ideas. both will start the car in the glove box
You put the battery in the fobs upside down maybe? It's pretty much impossible for both fobs to fail at the same time.
Try putting one in the slot. If the car starts, then check how you installed the batteries. Also, the CR2032 Ray-o-vac with hatch is BAD for the FOBs. It really doesn't make good contact in the FOB.
Use Panasonic batteries to make sure they work. I tried others and didn't work. And yes, had to order them online because nobody local carried them. Good luck.
