The complete Z06 exhaust on a LS2 is worth approximately 18 horsepower. You can do a search as one of the forum tuners has an actual number.
I have a complete Z06 exhaust on my 2005 A4. It works great with the honker and fast 90

With the Z06 manifolds and 3" pipes, members have reported from 15-20 HP gain. If you are at all concerned about passing smog where you are, that is the way to go.
I don't see any point to Z06 headers on an LS2......LS2 headers would be better over all, IMO of course.
If you are talking about using the entire Z06 factory manifold/cat/H pipe setup you will have to run a 3" muffler too or modify the H to fit your mufflers.
That being said the stock Z06 exhaust should pick up 12-18 hp at the rear tires and roughly 15 ft-lbs of torque. This should all be fine as far as emissions go as long as you keep all 02's and cats in place.
Going with a full long tube would make double that HP and TQ wise and you wouldn't have to use a 'Z06' specific header for the car as you would have to deal with the change in mufflers too. That being said check with your local emissions laws to see if this is ok.
