Steering column swap
My car has non telescoping column. I have got a hold of one that is. Is this a straight swap using my harness and clock spring? And will the memory unit work on the column being that this car didnt have it to begin with?

This what I have found out so far after talking to tech at dealer. There is 3 column harnesses and 20 body harnesses. Need to pull the main plug from column and see if plugs and or wires are present in the column harness and body harness so it maybe plug and play.

After checking the wiring harness in the car today. The wires that go into the main plug from the new column dont match up to the other end of the plug in the car. So unless there is an easy way to follow and maybe change that plug and harness to where ever it goes to match the new column, I dont think it will ever happen. No wonder these cars cost so much. Why dont they make one harness, so if we want to do stuff like this it can just be plug and play.
