Can my 2013 GS navigation/Stereo be changed out for a better system? Either thru Chevrolet or an after market system. Have a hard time seeing the stock system (glare) and seems a bit out dated.
There are several different aftermarket units which can be used in the C6, sometimes they get rave reviews and sometimes not,
DD Mods in WI sells and installs this kind of thing, they have a good reputation and are starting to get installers in other areas of the country. Check 'em out. Even if they don't do the install, you can buy all the correct parts and make good choices through them.
OTOH, no aftermarket unit will give you the turn arrows/distance on your HUD. For that reason, we've stayed with the stock unit in our C6. After 8 years/110k miles, we still like it. If you find the stock unit confusing, talon90 has a tutorial on his website that is a lot easier to understand than the original manual.

^^ I agree but.........I use the stock Nav when I'm taking long trips. When I'm just looking at a short trip to a local store I use my cell phone, all I need do is touch the voice command and speak the address much simpler than the Vette.
The Nav and infotainment system that came with my Chevy Cruze is way better than what is in the C6. I would opt to have this system put in the C6 if it were possible, but I'd have to believe it would be a huge undertaking.
