I'm considering a supercharger for my 2013 C6 Grandsport. I'm looking at the Magnuson Heartbeat and the Edlebrock E-force. Both fit under the stock hood which is part of the decision. Which supercharger is the best considering pros and cons; horsepower, reliability, drivability, fit, etc. Thanks.

I can only comment that my eforce has been great with 0 issues. The heartbeat looks like a nice unit but hasn't really been out long enough to get much feedback.

I've researched both pretty thoroughly. The E-Force is proven and has great results and reliability on a stock motor using either the canned tune or a proven tune from an installer like 21CMC, LGM or others. Most seem to run right at 500rwhp or a little over. Also, if you do the Edelbrock tune, you can get a warranty that replaces the GM power train warranty.
The Heartbeat is more recent and doesn't have a lot of feedback, but looks to be very good as well. Biggest difference appears that it might have better cooling than the E-Force, but that's yet to be proven well. The few dynos I've seen we're a little higher at about 530rwhp, but without a larger sample size it's hard to know how repeatable that is. They also offer a power train warranty with their tune.
Both will have much better low end torque versus a centri unit, which for street driving will make a much more fun car. Plus it looks cooler under the hood. Personally, I'm still considering getting one, and am now kind of leaning towards the Heartbeat.
The A&A is a good setup but I think it looks unbalanced in the engine bay. I like symmetry, thus I chose the E-Force. I would have the Maggie but it was too high for the stock hood (which I ended up changing any way! ) If there had been a good twin turbo kit out when I was looking to go FI, I would have gone that route.
As the others have mentioned, my E-Force has performed flawlessly since installation and I think it looks great in the bay. The new heartbeat needs more time for evaluation. It might be reliable also but you need more "live" time to prove that.
Thanks for all the feedback. I did consider everything. I ended up buying the Magnuson Heartbeat Supercharger. I also bought the Corsa Sport exhaust. We'll be changing the cam to something that matches the supercharger but not too wild.
Thanks again!

I look forward to your feed back on this supercharger as I would consider this at some point but I haven't read any real world feedback on this particular one.
Good luck and keep us up to date once it is installed.
