Default Akrapovic vs npp?

Hey guys! Im new and got a question. I have a white on black 6 speed 08 c6 i picked up last july and its got the npp option which sounds great for a stock exhaust and i planned on just doing American racing headers and a nice cam and keeping the npp but i came across a set of Akrapovic slip ons with the carbon fiber tips for a great price so im getting them. Ive looked online for comparison videos but they all sound the same to me. Has anyone heard these two in person? Im curious if it will sound any different. I am going to wait to install them untill i have the headers since they will be 3 inch all the way back. I`ll post a video of the two also since there doesnt seem to be one

So far the car is lowered, all the windows are tinted, mti six shooter shifter, airaid intake, npp, hid fogs and all other lights are led
I had the car dynod and put down 401.38! Seems like a strong ls3.

I just installed mine today. The Akrapovics are not as loud as the npp's while cruising. Both are loud at wot, but I have long tube headers and cattless x pipe. The Akrapovics are louder at idle with the valves open and closed. In my opinion they both sound awesome, but at wot the Akrapvics are pure bliss.

I leave them open all the time. No drone in 5th or 6th gear. Ive heard the Akrapovic on the callaway its coming off of but the flaps were closed and the cam in it really changes the sound. Can you leave the Akrapovics open? Is it the same as the npp? Just pull the fuse?
