Default Next step???

I am trying to figure out which step I want to go to next. I have a shop that wants to do a 150 shot NOS setup in my car and willing to do a sponsor build would cut the price a bit or should I go with Cam n Headers, either way I go I'll obviously be getting a tune but which route should I take now? Currently all I have done to the car is Borla ATAK X-Pipe n Mufflers.

What are you building the car for? Is it going to be a drag racing car or a street car? I personally think nitrous is a racing only addition, since you have to refill the tank. The cam and headers are an always there add-on. Plus they sound better.

Long tube headers will likely help you pick up a quick 40rwhp without going into the motor! That's what I would recommend! Give us a call if we can be any help to you, 443-730-9428

40 RWHP by adding headers? That sounds like bunch. What kind of headers do you sell?

I guess they must be really special headers that can produce 40 RWHP, I have B&B headers and did not get 1/2 of that amount.

I need to call my car murphy because every bolt-on has netted well below a lot of the results I see for fast 102's and headers. I got roughly 19rwhp from headers and 11rwhp from a ported fast, so approx. 30rwhp for headers and fast 102. I've seen guys get near 40 with just obx or ARH on youtube and 25-30 with a ported fast. There is a member on CF that got 65 from fast 102 & headers. My c6 has done 11.90's at 117.3 with 378 rwhp. That's stock ls3 numbers. I need to go H/C or sc next.

My numbers are more like yours. I got 548 RWHP, but it is a stroked LS3 from Wegner.

Who does your tunes in Milwaukee?

Jesse at Late Model Throttle in Waukesha. I have been using Pat G for the tcm tune. ECS also does a really nice tcm tune for the auto people. Being in Trenton did you use West Bend Dyno?

Yes. West Bend Dyno put my engine in. Jesse did my last tune at West Bend Dyno. Just bought a Nick Williams TB and billet alternator, so he will have to tune it again. My car is parked in their show room area for the winter.

I am amazed at the HP numbers I see, I guess I buy the wrong parts. Maybe I need the unobtanium ones.

Are you guys using a Mustang dyno or a dynojet. Dynojet in flat your rwhp, mustang dynos give you a lot more accurate numbers. all I have done to my car right now is the Borla ATAK Mufflers n X-Pipe and I am at 376 rwhp.

So what is your intended use/need for the additional power? Are you looking for dyno numbers or timeslip numbers?

A little more info about the car would be helpful too. Like model, and trans.

Its a 2011 Base, Auto. I am just looking for higher numbers on the street n dyno. Don't really hit the strip right now, car is to stock to be worth it IMO.

So are you saying that low to mid 12's are not quick enough, or is it that you want to have a dyno sheet with some big numbers to lay on the dash at car shows?

Quick and big HP don't always work well together.

Like I said don't really care for the strip as of now.

My goal is to probably go Headers n Cam now.

Couple more bolt ons and upgrade certain for better performance, and finish the car off with with FI somewhere along the line.
