ls3 engine
any inherent problems w/ these engines? buying a 2013 in 2 hrs never really looked into this ….duh.Fast responses appreciated.

The GM LSX series engines are some of the most dependable on the market. They have been around for quite a few years. The ZR1 shares the same LS3 motor with the addition of a blower and a mild cam upgrade that puts out 640HP +/-. It is rebadged as a LS9 due to the factory upgrades.
IMHO! If you are planning on modding the car for the track; get the M6 with dry sump system. The F55 option and NPP is nice also.

LS series engines over all are very good and the LS3 seems to be the best and strongest of the bunch

Have seen some used c6 w/ the edelbrock s.c, don't think i could afford to keep tires on one like that LOL
