two weeks ago I stored my vert, new for me at the time. I removed the negative terminal and closed the hood. Please note that I did not lock the door prior to closing the hood.
Tried to get into the car today and the door won't open so I can' get in. Went to the manual and it told me to open the trunk and pull the cable on the driver side of the trunk which I did. This is supposed to open the door with the car shut off.
The door cracks a little but it WON'T open after numerous tries.
The door latch is electronic and needs power so of course it wont open if you disconnect the battery. The window wont index down either and is hung up under your top when you try to open the door. Just have someone pull the door open while you pull the release handle. The window will have to be forced out from under the top. It wont hurt anything.

Need your help; needless to say I'm pi@@ed!
Thank you!!!
The door latch must be pulled while opening the door at the same time. It is spring loaded so releasing the latch when the door pops will lock it into the secondary safety lock for any car door, that is why you feel as if its getting stuck.
