Default muffler

Would an NPP muffler from a 2009 ZR1 fit on my 08 Z51 NPP exhaust and if so what would the chances be of finding one for a reasonable price. I have an X pipe from an 09 ZR1 I want to install and have read that the angle on that side is a little different.

The NPP is 2.5 inches. This is installed on the base and grand sport. The Bi-mode is 3 inches. This is installed on the Z06 and ZR1. The NPP was first installed in 08. There was a change in the angle on the passenger side in 09+. There have been no changes to the Bi-mode since it has been installed. There are some differences on how the actual muffler is made between the ZR1 and Z06 tell mid 11. They both were made the same. The Bi-mode will not install with a automatic car unless you modify it. There are differences in the length of the over the axle muffler between the NPP and Bi-mode. The Bi-mode are longer overall. The main reason being the bends are not as sharp. I believe you will need to have an adapter from 2.5 to 3 inch somewhere with your stock exhaust. You will have to drop the rear cradle to install the Bi-mode. I just did this not long ago on my 08 base. I already had LG pro long tube headers, hi-flow cats, and lg x-pipe. I had to buy new LG rear flow pipes to work with the Bi-mode. I ended up finding some 09 ZR1 Bi-mode in the for sale section for 350 with no actuators.
