All I know is some stroked higher power LS motors use it, And I heard Julio owner and engine builder tuner at Cartek recommend it to a friend of mine who dynoed over 600rwhp on his c6 NA pump gas 416 ci

What about a "Mizair" electric water-pump.. I know Ralph has been using one for the past 5 yrs & he drives 100 miles each way to & from the track... I have a switch to run my fan when the motor is OFF in the pits, & was thinking of getting a Mizair water-pump .. I've seen Ralph get his car from 200 deg to 150 in 5-7 min with the Electric water-pump, & fan with the motor OFF in 90 deg weather..

Which pump would you suggest for me.. I'm a 403 ci stroker, (A4) and have to drive 100 miles each way to any track.. so I'll be doing a LOT of highway driving...
Like I said in my previous post, Ralph has a Meziere and has been driving it 200 miles each time he races it... in the last 5 yrs...
I know Meziere are $$ don't know how much the others are.. But for my needs I think I should use the Meziere so I can run the WP & fan with the motor OFF between rounds... ??
Jpee I run the Meziere water pump and it is great have had it 5 years or more no problems, it works great colling down after burnout and return road i can hit the starting line at 181 every pass hot lapping five passes in a row, it works great at low rpms, it works great with stock gear but if you go with lower gears it rpms higher and the stock pump works better, low rpm it works better,

There is my problem I have to drive 100 miles to get to the track, & if I go to Lebanon Valley I usually cruise at 75 + mph & I remember my 96 (C4) had 3.73 gears, & 28" tires and that was at 3000 rpm on the highway...
I "Think" the trans in my (C6) has the same gear ratio as my C4 and I'm using shorter tires (26.5") so that would put me at 3000 rpm for sure..
For the time being I plan on staying with the stock water pump, & see what happens with the 3.15 rear end...
It may decide to commit suicide like my old motor & I'd be forced to get a rear end from a 2008 or maybe from a 2005 (c5) if that will work...
Keeping my fingers crossed that I can manage with my current set up...
I suppose if my water pump goes, I would research all the options but I really don't see any problems running the stock pump.
At the track I run my fans between runs and the temps fall to 170 in around 5 minutes.
I want to powder coat my water pump and the Edelbrock is two piece, so the part with the seals is separate from the housing. I also like the electric pump idea, but I don't want one and don't really have good reason why, maybe I do more research in to them.

with the ewp it will bring temp back to 181 or less on the return road i can pull right back up and do burnout it will get to 190s then pull up to line and it will drop to 181 by the time the lights go down and have repeated 5 hot laps back to back at a rental and 181 staged everytime
