LS3 starter interchange.....
Alright guys I have sort of an odd question that I can't seem to find any answers too, I'm curious if a 5th gen Camaro SS starter will fit on my 2008 C6 LS3. Both are LS3 but they are different part numbers, the Camaro starter is actually a little lighter, about the same size and substantially less expensive. I'm not concerned with price and there is actually nothing wrong with my C6 starter.... so why the question? I love the way the Camaro starter sounds when it turns over compared to the C6!! I want to figure out if I can use it on my car. The only thing I can think of is flywheel differences. Any help would be appreciated guys! Thanks!!

If the price is not the object, then buy one and see if it works. If it does, then you're happy. If it doesn't, then sell it. Either way you'll answer the question and become the authority on the subject for the future.
