Okay, so I'm doing a widebody conversion on my 2005 base. I pulled the rear quarters and I find a yellow wire that goes nowhere... It comes from the rear bumper and stops just short of the gas fill. Any idea what this is/was for?

Thanks, Phil

Depends on the year and which antenna. AM/FM or Satellite. Old thread but same answer.

The Xm satellite antenna is in the outer door mirrors after 05 (which 05 had the halo wart instead), the Nav GPS antenna is above the radio in the dash, and the AM and FM antenna modules are in the inner trunk.hatch area, and they run wires through the rear fender void area's as the antenna's for the modules.
Note, the module you see dead center of the am and FM antenna modules, is the rear RCDlr antenna for the TPMS and Fobs (3 more in the car as well).
