Default LS2 modifications for boost?

I'm seriously considering the idea of installing a A&A Vortech supercharger kit on my 2005 MN6 Vette. It is pretty much all stock except for CAI and Borla mufflers. Then I figure that maybe the following year I might upgrade the short block with either a stroker kit and a sleeved block for 427cid or just install a forged rotating assembly in the stock short block and settle for a minimal increase in displacement. So the question is, Is it worthy my while to go with a resleeved stock block for more cubes or just go with a forged rotating assembly if I'm targeting a reliable 650rwhp .

Forged stock cube motor or stroker like a 402 can get you safely to your goal. No need for sleeved block at level you are targeting. A & A Si trim with 3.6 pulley and headers will likely get you safely to 650. Methanol could get you even more.

Thanks for the input VetteAwe.
How does methanol help make more power but reduce the risk of blowing the engine? I can't see how that would reduce cylinder pressure Does it have to do with detonation?

It cools the intake air and raises octane. These factors allow more timing to be added which increases power and lowers risk of detonation or knock.
