It is winter time, you know
Seriously, if you have a dry sump, it sounds normal for me in the winter, I see those lower temps all the time. It's been beaten around a lot on the forum too, search and you will see various posts by myself and others about it.
If you post your model year, type of engine (LS3, LS7, etc.), miles on the vehicle, if it is Z51, auto/manual, dry sump or wet sump, then we can tell you more "normal" parameters.
I searched forum and google. What has changed my oil pressure that is what im concerned with. Yesterday i had oil temps normal 150-180 and still oil pressure would go to 75.That would never happpen before. The oil smells maybe alittle like gas.
Your oil temp is to low..Gey it to up around 210 & it should go down??
Yes its low but even when it 175 im still going to 75 psi ...it never did that before ...something has changed don't know what it is...but I want the pressure like it used to be 65psi max when warm.

keep us posted on what you find, this is an interesting one. Just a fyi though, my 2011 LS3 dry sump grand sport runs in the 70 -75 range when the oil is 150 degrees, when the rpms are higher than 2000.
When the oil is in the 100- 120 range, it will peg the needle (80 psi) and when I look at the DIC for oil pressure, it will be in the mid 80's.

My 08/LS3 will go up when i get it over 4000 rpm & my oil temp will be in the 180s..I think that is normal..Better then having LOW oil pressure..
Well I ordered ac delco filter it didn't come yet..oil is the same oil...Just changed plugs( full of sut) throttle body (full of oil) gear oil dirty trans clean 18,000 miles..getting a catch can...and to that guy if the car runs a certain way(max 65 psi) and then gos over 75psi something different and not for the better..I have no warranty..I blow the engine I have to buy a new one. This is the reason for concern..But thanks for your .02 if it was even worth that..Ill repost if filter solves issue

Why not change out to a new (Oil Pressure Sensor)??..The brand of filter is not your problem..I use the Mobil 1 filter, because at Advance Auto. has 5 qts & a Mobil 1 filter for $32.95.I've used the oem maybe twice & no change in the oil pressure
