Help....car wont crank
morning guys, got a problem. friend of mine had to do a battery change in car, know he is stuck out of town and car wont start or reconize key fob after change. never seen this problem in any car, anybody have any insight please help he has a 2005 coupe. he about three hours away and about to drive down to try to help. ive been a mech.for 25 yrs and never seen this happen,corvettes are great, i have one too, but the c6 sure does some stupid s.... electronicly somtimes!!!

He can try inserting the fob in the slot in the glove compartment.
My 05 would not start a couple of times. One time it was a relay (relays are on the passenger side front wheel well under the hood). I think I got it started by swapping the AC relay in for the start relay. It has been years since I did this, so my memory may not be exactly correct.
The next time the BCM (body control module) was bad and had to be replaced.
