Default Lifting front tires?

Just curious if anyone has been able to lift the front wheels with a 6 speed.
If so how'd ya do it ? Power/ suspension/ tires?

All of the above and a strong drivetrain and clutch.

Why do you want to, if even you do.

I sure a stock hp c6 could do this with some drag radials by revving and popping the clutch. I am also sure that something will break sooner rather than later.

No experience just assuming.

The drag strip guys will chime in.

Wagon wheels up front and look at the meat in the rear.

You are DEAD WRONG a 6 speed even with drag radials won't pick up the front wheels, unless he has some suspension work done, & EVEN if he did lift them it would be about 2" and they would be back on the ground almost instantly..

An Automatic is better suited to doing a "wheelie" than a manual car...

Those are NOT wagon wheels up front. They are light weight GTO spares.

True, but these certainly aren't lightweight.

Power/Suspension/Drivetrain/HSTC..Pretty much everything haha.

You need the power to generate the torque (a lot of it); since you're boosting your power that much, you need to reinforce the drivetrain by rebuilding the transmission, driveshaft, and other bits. With all this power you have to put it on the ground, so you upgrade your suspension to prevent sway, tuned to the track, and throw meats on there.. Hefty in the back, lighter in the front (in both weight, and width). Slap a much higher rated HSTC on to it, to lock transmission until you hit your power RPM's, and when you unlock.... Bam. Instant power load (and wheelie).

Doesn't happen on all builds, but exceptional torque values to the wheels all at once typically produce a wheelie. Problem is, without a properly built vehicle for it, the twisting motion of the torque will twist the vehicle frame (bad news).
