Default Best Ported Throttle Body

I've been looking at ported stock throttle bodies for a LS2. Is there one that is better than another? I saw years ago people recommended Cory Harris, but haven't seen anything recently. Any personal experiences is appreciated.

I had mine done by Jeremy Formato. You will need a tune with this as well. I had my first one go bad.
The rwhp pickup is negligible. I have a friend on this forum who I consider an expert tell me it is best to leave this stock unless you are pushing out over 500 hp.
Just my opinion here. Good luck.
Jeff

I have a LS3 engine and got my TB from Jerry. I did not get a tune. The thing I like about the ported TB is the throttle response is much improved. It is as if the pedal is directly connected to the engine w/o any lag.

I have the V-max spiral from Florida Speed.
Improves throttle response, not HP. Happy with mine.

Why are you thinking about this? HP gains, throttle response or both? Just wondering.

I have a 402 with big cam and ported heads with stock manifold and tb. I purchased a Fast102 and just wanting to get the most out of the motor. I've been told that a ported stock will do just as good of a job than a 102 TB for $500 less.

Nice. I've heard the 102 TB is a waste of cash too. Well as far as HP gains on the ported TB, they are at the end of the rpm's as the previous dyno showed. You will pick up a few but the throttle response or the "seat of the pants" you will notice. I know some have said you don't need a re-tune but I disagree. The screen in the MAF sensor usually gets removed too in some power setups. There is diagreement about that too. What would we talk about without such things? Good luck.
