Default need a trusted shop

After reading tons of old post from several forums(several out dated post as well), Im looking for a shop in the Baton Rouge La or surrounding areas. I know opinions are like ***holes but i was hoping to get the opinion of a few locals. So Ive pretty much convinced myself LMR in Houston is were i fell the good about taking it, but they seem a little pricey. Im from Houston originally so its no big deal to take it there since Im always going that way. I was also considering Futrell but they are hard to get ahold of. Also thought about Ragin Racin but dont know much about them. Looking to get headers, mid pipe, CAI, tune. I was also wondering if it would be cheaper to buy all these parts from a vendor and just pay labor and tune.
Or hell I have beer money and Im pretty well mechanically inclined to help if someone you know needs a side job. Other than the tune its pretty basic installs and I would tackle it if I had a lift.
So in conclusion. Up to a 5 hour drive is do able and Im open to anything, just want to stay away from the bad tuners.. Any input will be helpful.

I had all my work done at Lethal Racing here in Lafayette.
'13 1LT A6 Base
366/380 stock, 439/451 after Pfadt headers and Halltech CAI with tune

Their tunes are awesome, and they frequently work on cars from all over the country. They are devoted to getting your car working perfectly before they call it done. Their staff is very knowledgable, and most of them have vettes/camaros, so they will respect your vehicle as well. I'm sure LMR will do a fine job as well but they are a lot further than an hour away from you like Lethal is. Lethal has always made any alterations to my tune for free. Not sure if LMR will do that.

Lethal's also installed my axleback system and new brake pads, and they're doing a transmission cooler sometime next week.

I'm not an affiliate, just a very pleased customer.

I believe they are still a supporting vendor here. England Green is in Houston. Check them out.

Thanks for the replies i received a quote today from Futrell. prices were in range on some and a few were off a little. My main concern with any shop in customer satisfaction and taking pride in what you do. I would feel like **** if someone paid me 5-7k and there car tore up over something i did or installed wrong. I put 3 built and blown motors in my Lighting and all three blew due to shortcuts made and not the first shop admitted they screwed up. I like the comfort LMR gave me on the quality of work they do. If a local shop would tell me if the motor or heads blow due to a install or tune mistake i would jump on them in a heart beat. I will look up Leathal and call them.
