Speedometer... HELP!!!!

Speedometer... HELP!!!!
Ok, to make a long story short, I have a 2005 C6 corvette with HUD. I am unsure when the speedometer worked before, however it does not work now. Here are a few answers to the normal questions.....
Yes the speedometer sweeps when you start the car.
When I plug a computer/scan tool there are no codes. If I use my computer while running the car, the handheld scan tool will show me the MPH on the unit (on the actual handheld scan tool), but the speedometer and HUD shows 0.
Looking this issue up on the forums, everyone tends to talk about the clip that was recalled on the telescoping steering wheel. This has already been replaced.
Looking this issue up everyone seems to say that the green and white wire under the dash are what I am looking for.... before I start ripping the car apart tomorrow, I was hoping that I could get some help on where/what I am looking for.
There are no ABS/Traction lights or codes.
The Tachometer(RPM) works just fine on the dash and HUD.
Hoping someone knows what I am looking for..... obviously a loose wire somewhere.... but where? Any suggestions?
