Default Header / x-pipe fitment questions

Will headers and x pipe from 07 z51 fit my 13 g/s dry sump ?
If not what models and years will fit? looking for a used set,on a tight (wife don't know)budget, could buy a new cheap brand but do not want fitment issues.

You will either need mufflers from a 08 down car or have an exhaust shop mate the midpipe to your existing ones.

Thanks, I think I will hold out for a no mod bolt on.
Can I do just a header w/o the x pipe?
I just found a set of texas speed headers but never herd of them, I want headers to bolt up like stock and stainless.

The headers from year to year bolt up fine. It's the interface between the intermediate pipe and the mufflers that's different between the early and late cars.

Therefore, as the prior poster stated, you need earlier mufflers to work with your '07 intermediate pipe or you need to modify the pipe to fit the later mufflers. The other option is to buy a later model intermediate pipe from the header company (or appropriate vendor) that will work with your '13 mufflers.

Thanks for the info, I like my duel mode exhaust so that stays, do not like the idea of welding or adapting or cutting any thing that can not be changed back, headers should be a bolt on.
I always do it with older cars and the weld areas always rust or leak.
The best way I see is buying a cheaper brand header x pipe like obx.
