Did you factor in the price for a tune? Also with a cam swap gotta factor in the little things. Gaskets, coolant, oil, random sensor you break on accident.
Is it you're daily driver or fun car? Personally I'd go for option 2. Get your car ready for a cam swap. But it's your car, do what will make you happier.

Complete Installation and Full Chassis Dyno & Road Tune
I know it won't be complete until the intake and cam can flow enough thru the exhaust, in reality, it should all be done at the same time, I know that.
I will do the intake and TB next weekend then decide on the next step

do the ported Fast and OBX catted LT headers. $1,800. to $2,000. if you can do the install yourself. if anyone touches your tb nail him between the eyes with a ball peen hammer.this will work without a tune but should be checked on dyno for Air Fuel Ratio before beating on it.
