I just moved out to California and have been paranoid about getting pulled over and the cop discovering my B&B Longtubes with high flow cats. I'm thinking about swapping in LS7 Headers and cats and was just wondering if it will be a noticeable power decrease? Have any of you guys run LS7 Headers on your LS2?
My other mods include LG G5X3 CAM, and B&B Route 66 exhaust. I dnyo'd at 424 WHP on a Dynojet with these mods. I'm planning on leaving the CAM in and hope the LS7 Headers will keep the car quiet enough to keep LEO attention away.
i have LT headers with no cats and have no problems with police, just dont drive like a race car driver everywhere. police seem to zero on the younger crowd with hondas when it comes to that stuff, they seem to leave the nicer stuff alone as long as you are not doing anything stupid. like said above u will just have to worry about smog.

I'm mostly worried about being pulled over and getting that one officer who's had a terrible day and wants to look under the hood. It's nice to hear that they're mostly going after the ricers.
Ryan -- how loud is your Corvette? I don't plan to be giving the cops a reason to pull me over

my car is loud when i jump on it, i still have the NPP mufflers but i leave them open all the time.. i can short shift it and drive it so it isnt so loud as well.

Okay nice. I wish I had NPP on mine. The drone can get a little old after a while.
You know, I'm starting to see more and more modified (loud) cars here. I saw a Mustang just about rocking straight pipes, so at least my car isn't that loud
