Placebo effect?
I am not sure if it's all in my head, or if there is a logical explanation to this so I will ask... I recently had my shocks and sway bars replaced on my 2013 base C6. After doing so it seems to me the car feels like it takes off faster and goes 70 to 100+ much faster than before. I am not complaining by any means. I am just wondering if the upgraded suspension mods maybe planted the car more firmly and resulted in a crisper feeling in launch/acceleration?

You were probably focused on body movement before. Now that it is tighter you feel more confident. Happens a lot. Going from a base C5 to a C6 GS really gave me confidence in the corners and made it feel much faster.

There is enough placebo effect on this forum to float an aircraft carrier...but what you have done with the Bilsteins and bars is one of the best and most noticeable improvements that you can do to the car. It is certainly possible that the car feels very much better to you...in every way.
