Anti-theft?

Anti-theft?
Recently after parking in public lots "legally between the stripes" my 08 acts up. Doors will not open, FOB not detected. The FOB batteries are 2 yrs old. Used both FOB's to try to eliminate them, same behavior. Got them to work after pushing open/close/trunk. The last time after letting me in, I had to put FOB in glovebox to start it. This only happens when it is not home, at home everything works first time, everytime. Is it possible something happens that sends the car into anti-theft mode and it puts me thru the wringer to make sure I'm its' Daddy? Is there something I should look for?

RF interference comes to mind. Are you doing anything different? New cell phone? New charger in the car? Anything else electronic you only use when away from home?
Make sure FOB batteries and car battery are all "GOOD".

It is the original battery. I don't have a cell phone, but she does. Two things in common, a lot cheaper to replace the batteries....
Thank you Rick, RF interference was not on my list. I am going to replace all the batteries and ask her to shutdown if/when it happens again.
