headers with borla exhaust
Bought an 08 base model that the previous owner just installed the Borla S-Type II with the included Xpipe. I want to install headers and still run cats. From what I can tell on Borla's website, they only list a "complete" exhaust system.
Is there any direct bolt on headers that will work with what I already have?

I have the Borla S-Type II exhaust and went with these headers and x-pipe. You may also look at the Borla headers. Give MarylandSpeed a call and verify if the Borla long tube will direct bolt to your existing Borla x-pipe. They should be able to steer you in the right direction.

our Borla headers are always a good fit and great combination for power and sound. any other headers shouldn't be a problem either as long as they use the factory mounting points. All Borla products are measured and put through R&D using factory points for easy D-I-Y installation as well as fitment for other products etc. Congrats on the project - good luck and happy motoring!

I have the Borla Stingers on my 06, bought Kooks headers and picked up a catted x-pipe off the classifieds here on Corvette forum for $150. Easiest set of headers and exhaust I ever put on.
But get ready! This car sounds great! Real head turner! I've had coworkers come tell me how good it sounds.

any of the major name headers should be no problem....I got one of the last set of PFADT headers on my Z06 and those came with cats...I think LG sells a system with cats as well.
