Whats up guys. I did a cam swap about 2 months ago and now i have a SCS warning on idle pretty often. While crusing it never comes up. My idle is 950. Do you think its an actual issue or my PB 25 under drive? Im sick of the chime when it comes on and its driving me nuts. i have an 06 with intake full exhaust and tune, UD pulley, cam. Same spark plugs as before when i didnt have the cam and it never came on then...is anyone else experincing this issue?
P0300 code
P0621 code.
Edit: The code has been reset, Made sure all the plugs, plug wires were tight. hooked up the tech 2, all Cyl have 2 counts of a misfire here and there, whether at idle or not. very randomly would it hit 4 counts. then it would zero out. Ive always had the system charging message. Very seldom..here and there. And this came out of left field. All the sudden dings pretty often with the message and all cylinders show a slight misfire...Im at a loss. I moved the alt wire away from the plug wire. but i dont think thats my problem anymore. I was attempting to move the oil lines by the header, and the little clip i was trying to pull off to put the kooks one on some one hit the horn?? I dont understand what happened there...can anyone shine some light?
Thanks guys.

I had the same issue and after cam and header etc. here is what I did and it fixed the issues I was having. My first issue was when the ac was turned on the charging system would drop and the service charging light would come on. Also even with out the ac on I would get the light on at idle.
1. Checked the connections on the battery, back of alternator, and starter and ground wires off the battery .
2. Move the Power wire on the back of the alternator away from the Spark plug wire on the #1 cylinder for some reason it was causing voltage to bounce as it was to close to the wire. Move to the top at least 3 inches if possible
3. I raised my rpms at idle to 925 from 750 at idle with not ac on.
4. Lastly I bought a Texas Speed ASP Overdrive Pulley, Now at idle I am at 13.7-14.2
5. If you wanted you can do the BIG 3 upgrade. Min 4 gauge from alternator to battery grounds and power wire to fuse box.

MIne is very close to the wire on cyl 1. It does jump around alot. like .8 different at times...ill try that. did you have to change belts with the ASP overdrive?
Okay, thanks. im also trying to figure out why i had an all cyl misfire code yesterday...I have access to a te4ch 2 and at idle and crusiing it kicks liek 2 maybe 4 coounts of misfire and resets itself...is this normal? I dont know
nah, maybe it has something to do with the coil wire close to the alternator wire. What codes did it show do you know.
Random cyl in the tech 2 would should each random cyl showing like 2 counts of misfire then go away. then 2 counts on another cyl then go away. I dont get it. The system charging thing blinked on like 3/4 times in the 3 minutes it was running. Ever since the system charging started doing this its been like that. Idk what the hell the problem is.
I would bet if you fix the charging issue the other crap will go away. I was having a knock sensor issue and once I fixed the charging issue the knock thing went away not sure why but it did.
Im irritated cause on tuesday this wasnt a problem at all. I tried to move the oil lines by the header and did that. Would naything down there i touched cause any of this at all?
only thing I can think is of possible lose or damaged wire on the starter that is where my issue started after my headers was put on and the gremlins wanted to play.
also another issue that I forgot to tell you was . I had to release some pressure in my ac system it was causing my system to build up to much pressure with the new headers and added heat it seem like. I had roughly 1.3lb of freon and released it to about 1lb and now the ac is ice cold at idle. Before it was fine driving but at idle It getting hot at stop lights. Also it was causing the fan to constantly run which was dropping my voltage at idle.
I did find that my start wire was sitting on my headers...like dead against. I move it away from the start and ziptied it to the other wire next to it.
