2007 C6 Starting problem.
Base model 2007 6 speed manual.
1) 1st occurrence was in 1/14. It would crack but not start. Towed to dealer, started no error codes.
2) 2nd time in 2/14 where it started and ran for 5 sec at 300 rpm then would not start. Towed to dealer started no error codes. Replaced battery.
3) 3rd time in 2/14 while driving slowed to 300 rpm but recovered. After stopping and re-starting, it drove for a block, rpm dropped to 300 rpm and died. Would not start, towed to dealer, started no error codes, dealer replaced the fuel pump.
4) 4th time in 4/14 while parked dropped to 300 and died in about 5 secs. Foreman dispatched with monitor car started no error codes.
5) The 5th time in 4/14 started ran a couple min dropped to 300 rpm died. Restarted in 5 min monitor installed by dealer.
6) The temperature was in the 40’s and 50s with and without rain. The problem has seemed to disappear with the warmer climate and/or with the monitor being installed.
