Have a '12 Grandsport with a automatic transmission. Want to put a supercharger kit on it but not sure if transmission can handle it. What your thoughts on it? Thanks
If you are talking about something like the Edelbrock E-force, even the 599, there will be no issue with the trans, especially if only street driven and/or drag raced occasionally.
If you are talking about MORE power and/or a lot of drag racing with slicks, then there will be a problem.
If that answer covers it, great, if not, post back with more specifics for better info.
You could also ask in the C6 Forced Induction Forum for more eyes.

I just put the Magnuson Heartbeat unit on my 08C6...With a custom tune - 6 PSI... stock bottom end - stock tranny... It will depend on how you drive ... I was told it should be fine for a long ways to come... GM built these to handle lots more...Your mileage is probably low and your motor wants to wake up anyhow... I'm pulling 514 RWHP and it's so awesome ... Cheers on what you decide...
As long as you have a good tuner tune the car and the TCM it will have no problems. I know pat g had a customer with a grand sport with the stock trans running 9s. It finally gave up but lasted a few years!! until they turned it up lol.
If your just going to drive it and do some highway pulls here and there with a good tune you will have no problems.
I am having a sale on ECS kits if your interested btw!!!
They claim that 650 is the magic number. Less than that and as long as there's a GOOD tune in it, and the fluid temp stays under control, it SHOULD live. I puked my stocker at 635 due to excessive fluid temps that came from a poorly routed factory trans cooler line being way to close to a clogged cat.
