Hi everyone,
I have an '08 Z51 coupe, manual trans, headers, borlas and stock run flats.
I've done plenty of drag racing with previous cars but this will be my first time with my Vette. I'm sure I'll have to play the launch by ear but any tips on shift points(rpms?), tire pressure or anything else that would be of help. Should I try to power shift with stock tires? Also, what setting on the nannies is best? Traction control off but the rest on?
My Vette club is going to the local 1/8 mile strip in a couple of weeks.
Thanks in advance!

If your runflats are the originals from day one, you'll have real problems trying to hook that hard rubber even with the 25-26 psi that most people run. Newer tires will stick better. I wouldn't try power shifting, since just a little bit out of line will kick in the nannies. TC off and be sure to immediately abort the pass if you get wheel hop.
Most importantly, don't stress out, just have fun.
I got my best passes with rear tire pressure at 24 psig, speed shift the 1-2 shift and power shift the 2-3 shift. Look for a thread with input by Ranger on drag strip technique. His write up is awesome. I this his experience was with a C5 but nevertheless practically everything is still applicable.
