Power steering fluid
Hello,
All GM dealers were closed today and I needed power steering fluid for my 2007 C6.
The clerk recommended me Kleen-Klo fluid, it's a well known Canadian company here and it fits all manufacturer standards except Honda and Audi.
Is it that critical to NOT put GM powersteering fluid or i'm fine with my kleen-flo ?

I don't know of a reason why you couldn't do that as long as the stuff you're using states it meets GM specs.

I don't know of a reason why you couldn't do that as long as the stuff you're using states it meets GM specs.

GM doesn't actually manufacture power steering fluid anyway...it is made for their label by some oil company. Most cars use the same PS fluid with a couple of outliers like Honda...you'll be fine.
