So I recently bought the m2w from a forum member who claims he sold his car.i have stock z06 exhaust on my z51 with bi-mode.i followed the instructions and nothing.the fuses I pulled is labeled "spare".i replaced fuses..still nothing.i replaced batteries in the remotes as well.im beginning to question if the m2w even works,or did he sell me somethin that's already broken..
You may have to add this. I guess it depends on how complete the Z06 system is on your car. If nothing else, call these guys http://nakidparts.com/id78.html
I wonder if you have the ground hooked to the wrong bolt. There are two very close together. The correct one is to the left and is smaller

Just for clarification, do you have a 2006 Z06 or base?
If base, you need more than just the M2W switch. You will also need the “NPP in a box” mod.
OP; Just the switch won't do anything if you are hooked direct to vacuum. It makes a BIG difference in how the exhaust valves open/close. With JUST a vacuum line the baffles will be open when the car is off, closed when the car is running EXCEPT when you lose vacuum (high RPM, under load, etc).
If I read this correctly, you have a '06 base that has Z06 mufflers installed and a vacuum line hooked up directly from the engine to the mufflers. You have now purchased a remote controller that plugs into the passenger floor fuse box and that is where it currently stands. That controller was the only thing needed if the car was already factory equipped with the bi-mode mufflers. i.e. Z06 or NPP. That's why it worked for him and not for you.
What you are lacking are the parts between the power source at the fuse box and the vacuum lines at the mufflers. You will also need to plug into the fuse box at the seat heater location for switched power. Contact www.sunsetorangecreations.com (a forum vendor) and explain what you have and he can provide the remaining parts you need.
I don’t know too much about the aftermarket vacuum lines, is something powering it or does it get its vacuum pressure just from the engine? If it gets power from something, you can just hook up the M2W switch to kill that power.
The M2W is just a rebranded 12v power relay remote switch. (Google: LOGISYS RM02) If you understand 12v wiring, you should be able to wire the switch to turn on/off the power to the vacuum pump.
