Neither of my doors will open. When I try to open either one, the window drops but the door latch does not open. I get the same result from both the inside and the outside handles. I can hear a relay inside triggering but nothing seems to happen.
My door pads are old and dirty and need to be cleaned/replaced. They do the same thing as yours, partially unlatch, index the windows and won't let go. Right now, if I move my fingers to the very top (on the driver's side) or to the very bottom (on the pax side) it will let me open the door completely. It is VERY picky about the exact location my fingers must be to open completely.
Try changing exactly where you squeeze/press to see if it helps.
The long-term solution is to clean (there are DIY threads somewhere here) or replace them (not very expensive).
Both FOBs do the same thing. I can pop the trunk and it starts.
I pulled the outside door buttons and cleaned the inner contacts in them. Tested them with a multimeter and it's peetty reliable.

I would start by cleaning/testing battery ground connection to frame and cleaning batt posts and cables. I have cleared many wierd problems that way, cant hurt, and is cheap.

Anyone have any guidance?
I realize how displeasing it can be when faced with a doors concern like this, and though you're seeking thoughts and opinions, I would be happy to communicate this situation with the designated Customer Experience Manager at your preferred dealer if you feel an official diagnosis is necessary. Feel free to message us privately if you'd like to proceed, or discuss this situation further.
It is very unusual to have the same exact problem on two different doors. There are 3 modules involved with opening each door along with the all of the associated wiring between the modules. It is possible two separate modules failed at the same time but the probability is extremely low (you probably have a greater chance of being struck by lightning from a thunder storm when you taking a tour of a coal mine and are 600 ft below ground level).
I would look for something common to both doors that is causing the problem. That means it probably has to do with the electrical supply. There may be corroded or loose battery connections, the battery may be low, the battery cable ground frame connection may have an issue. There could be an issue with the positive side battery cable where it connects to the electrical center. Check all of that stuff out before trying to replace modules.
The fact that you get the same result when you attempt to use either the outside or inside door switches indicates the switch pads on the door are OK. If the outside switch pad had a problem the inside switch would still be able to open the door and vice versa. The door module causes the window to index and sends a door opening signal to the door latch in the B pillar. If this was affecting just one door I would suggest you look at the module and the latch to see which one isn't working but with two doors doing the same thing, you need to look at something else first.
By the way when my car was still under warranty I had the same problem twice with my driver door. The first time the dealer had to replace the door module (inside the door) and the second time they had to replace the door latch in the B pillar. Neither time were the inside or outside switches replaced or cleaned.
